Rafe Turns Five

Rafe turned 5 this past January, and we had a few celebrations. The first pictures show him opening gifts on his actual birthday. Sean had picked out his gift months in advance -- The Millenium Falcon. It's almost as big as Rafe!

Here's Rafa opening a Wall-E card from Grandma Roxanne and Grandpa Ed.

Grandma Mary also organized a party for Rafe while we were home in Iowa over the holidays. He seems quite pleased with this Batman car from Uncle Ian's family.

Grandma let Rafe pick out his own cake so of course he wanted the Darth Vader cake.

It's hard to see in the picture, but Cookie Monster slippers are what's generating all the excitement here. Happy Birthday to our five-year-old boy! We love you.
