4th of July Parade

Well, we are the second year into our tradition of attending the Coralville 4th of July parade in Iowa. You can see Rafe and Taylor here, patiently waiting in their lawn chairs for the parade to start. The weather was absolutely beautiful for this time of year -- high 70s, sunny, and low humidity.



Sean snagged a chair from Amy and Brian that I'd never seen before -- a reclining lawn chair! Now that's the way to watch a parade. Rafe's cousin Rhea was also able to join us with her parents Abby and Charlie.



Finally, you see some very happy children here with candy bags almost too full for them to carry. Once again, Rafe collected more candy from this parade than he does from Halloween.
