Pool Party

We finished our trip to Iowa with a great weekend in Davenport. The theme of the summer is definitely "new house" for our relatives. Not only Amy and Brian have moved, but so have Sean's brother Ian and Sean's mother Roxanne. We were able to see both their homes and found them to be gorgeous with great outdoor spaces. Rafe is all ready to come back and use Grandma Roxanne's pool as soon as it's ready. He was very happy to see that she also has a riding lawnmower in her garage.

This photo is of Ian and Erin's youngest son, Gavin. Jerry and Mary hosted a pool party and it was a fun time for Rafe to spend with his cousins.


Now we have Rafe and his cousin Aiden (Ian and Erin's oldest boy). They enjoyed playing soccer and T-ball together when they weren't in the pool.


Finally, we have Rafe and his cousin Lindsey (Gabe and Jenny's daughter). She seems to enjoy Rafe when he isn't shouting in her face (one of his new favorite activities).


We had probably our best trip back to Iowa ever. I say that because we were able to see so many of our relatives over the week we were home. While we couldn't quite squeeze in everybody, we completed a pretty large circuit.
