We spent Christmas day at Grandpa Jeff and Grandma Sue's house. The first photo shows Rafe playing with some of the blocks he opened from his Santa presents. Rafe was very excited that Santa ate part of the cookie we left out for him the night before. Before we drove to Iowa for Christmas, Rafe wanted to know how Santa would know where to find us. Grandpa Jeff told him that Santa would have a GPS system that would tell him how to find Rafe at Grandpa Jeff's house. The second photo is Rafe showing off his muscles in his new Iowa T-shirt. The third photo shows Rafe with my niece Taylor and twin nephews Carver and Kinnick. They are all decked out as loyal Hawkeye fans (no matter what the win-loss record was this football season). Finally, Rafe and Taylor are shown practicing for their new profession at...McDonald's! Taylor received a McDonald's cash register from Grandma and Grandpa and it was the favorite toy of the evening. By the end of the night Rafe had his welcoming line down pat, "Welcome to McDonald's. May I take your order?"
